Chanel is having a red hot fashion moment right now and even though this suit is from the late eighties it actually feels fresh and now. I love the print especially - if you look close those are actually stylized little figures that make up the fabulous red and navy print on the silk. The top is cut like a little silk bomber and it buttons all the way open so you could layer it over other pieces. At the base of the jacket/top and on the cuffs and skirt are gold toned metal buttons that each have a little chic Chanel pump embossed on them. The skirt is equally chic with a flat pleats that hug through the hips and open for a big of swingy, sexiness as they near the hem. Very well made as one would expect and very Chanel. Excellent condition

The skirt is fully lined in a navy silk and the top is unlined but beautifully finished inside. The skirt closes with hidden set buttons and a gold toned metal button at the waist. The top buttons to close with hidden set buttons and gold ones at each cuff, the waist and at the neck. Lightly padded shoulders.
