This is an amazing combination of that 1950s aesthetic that Suzy Perette was known for and the more modern eye that Victor Costa brought to the table when he designed for the company from 1965-1973. It is made of that perfect fine 60s wool jersey that is not so light that it can't hold a shape, nor too heavy that it feel cumbersome to wear. The cut is just fabulous. Very minimalist and chic. It is sleeveless with a simple bodice that has vertical seams to form the shape of the bust. Note how those seams perfectly line up under the waist seam with the darts in the skirt. The waist nips in and it has its original belt to cinch it on for shape. The skirt is fantastic - lots of volume and I love the two huge pockets that sit on each hip. So chic! Excellent condition.
Fully lined in a black silky rayon and the hem's seam is ribbon edged. Closes with a fine back metal zipper. The belt is in excellent shape as well.
